Blackwood 8 is a team of local volunteers, passionate about making a difference in the lives of people, and their families, affected by cancer.   We share a common bond of having a friend diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2007.

This years function is at Croydon Golf Club, Yering Meadows on Saturday 23 October. The function will support Cure For Life Foundation.

The guest speaker at this year's event is Dr Kerrie McDonald, Head of the Neuro-oncology Laboratory at the Lowy Cancer Research Centre.
